Tomczak’s shocking words about “0 percent credit”
Jacek Tomczak has been loud in recent months due to his controversial statements about “0 percent loans” and buying apartments.
“In the long-term housing policy, Poles invest in apartments, among others, to escape from inflation, to invest funds there and the assumption is that they will not lose, which means that prices are rising”
Tomczak’s connections with developers
HR found that Tomczak has worked closely with development companies for many years. The publication indicated that he had a notary office from 2004 to 2013, and then reopened it in February 2019. He ran this business together with his wife Agata in the form of a civil partnership.
Journalists analyzed the content of court documents. They show that apart from the Tomczaks, four other people, apart from the Tomczaks, also prepared apartment purchase/sale agreements for developers and their clients. As many as 3,601 notarial deeds were found in land and mortgage registers in new buildings that were handed over by developers. On their basis… 1,717 premises were sold.
PLN 2.8 million in revenue?
This information was paired with the fact that In his asset declarations, Tomczak declared that since 2019, his total income from running a notary office amounted to PLN 330,500, and as much as PLN 303,655 was revenue achieved only in 2019, which gave PLN 9,325 of income.
Analyzes on the “start-up loan” that… weren’t there?
At a recently organized special meeting of the infrastructure committee, Jacek Tomczak argued for support for the “start-up” loan project. As he explained, his ministry is able to present “very detailed analyzes” of what will happen next year if the loan program is not launched.. “The effect will be that supply will decrease and prices will increase,” explained the deputy head of the ministry.
The analysis of the Building Research Institute does not confirm that without the #naStart loan, market prices would increase – according to the findings of “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”, described in Wednesday’s edition.
The daily reminds that there is still no agreement in the coalition on supporting the purchase of apartments thanks to the #naStart loan. Politicians of Poland 2050 and the New Left are against it
“Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” asked about the analyzes cited by the politician.
“According to our findings, the Ministry of Energy and Technology did not commission external and independent research in this area. The thesis put forward by Jacek Tomczak is not confirmed by the study prepared by the Building Research Institute, which was referred to by the deputy minister in interviews.
“It is difficult to draw any conclusions from the ITB letter regarding the introduction or non-introduction of the #naStart loan, because it concerns a completely different subject. It does not say anything about subsidy programs, it only refers to the prices of construction materials,” Jan Dziekoński, a real estate expert from FLTR analysis platform.
As experts explain in an interview with “DGP”, the #naStart loan proposed by some of the government camp will not solve the most urgent problems on the real estate market.
