Crunchyroll is making its extensive anime library even more accessible. Today the VoD provider announced a new distribution agreement with YouTube Primetime Channels, paving the way for premium content on the well-known video portal.
Availability in selected regions from the end of 2024
Ab End of 2024 Anime fans in Germany, France, the UK, the USA and Australia can access Crunchyroll YouTube Primetime Channels subscribe. With this offer it is possible to manage all subscriptions directly in the YouTube app and to enjoy series conveniently on one platform.
YouTube Primetime Channels has also been available in Germany since last year and now offers over 45 channels with premium content from various providers. The current offering includes channels from local providers such as ARD Plus and ProSieben FUN as well as international streaming services such as NFL Game Pass. This year, Crunchyroll is adding a comprehensive portfolio of anime series and films.
With over 40 new anime series this fall alone, including popular titles like Dragon Ball DAIMA, AND DA AND and the third season of Re:ZERO, Crunchyroll’s offering continues to grow. You can find Crunchyroll’s simulcast lineup for the current fall season on the official website.
