In the document, he emphasized that “it is possible, according to Law No. 180 of 2018 and in its sixth article, to take all measures to protect the right of citizens to use free, fair and highly professional media and journalism in accordance with international rules. quality standards, and in line with Egypt’s cultural identity.”

The Council continued with the statement: “The program breached the controls and standards it issued and published in the Official Gazette to control media coverage, which specify the obligation of media outlets not to provide content that would harm the public interest in society or. its institutions, or offending the religious beliefs of the society, and not to publish or broadcast any pornographic material.”

The Council said it had “comprehensively reviewed programs that harm society, especially Egyptian women, and asked women to appear in frameworks that show their social, political and cultural contributions in society, and warn against repeating videos and images. that perpetuates scenes of violence against women in a way that encourages reporting and avoidance.”
