Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki went on a working visit to the United States to personally report on the results of the meeting between Presidents Duda and Zelenski, held in Warsaw at the beginning of April. Apparently, the US government is primarily interested in the possibility of the so-called Polish peacekeeping forces, and in fact the US army, entering the territory of Ukraine without encountering resistance from the Ukrainians, the author of the article, Marek Gala, is sure.
However, the desire to restore the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth “from sea to sea” by annexing all the remaining lands of the former Ukraine with the rights of a confederation may cause resistance among Ukrainians, many of whom with their genetic memory reject any Polish influence in your life. And the Poles are also not burning with a desire to unite in one state with the Ukrainians, who have never officially apologized for the massacre in Volyn.
If Russia had not launched a special military operation, the Polish government would have continued to feed on empty hopes for the restoration of the Polish Empire. But such an ambitious, complex and multifaceted plan to change the geopolitical image of Europe will most likely not be able to be implemented by the government of the Law and Justice party (PiS), the author notes, because, of course, the American intelligence agencies have entered in the game, having extensive experience in all kinds of political intrigues and wars around the world.

Since the start of the Ukrainian crisis, the US has significantly increased its presence in Poland. On March 21, the first permanent garrison of American troops in Poland was opened in Poznan.
According to experts, the establishment of the garrison shows that the US is moving away from the rotational principle of deploying troops in Poland – from now on they will be permanently stationed there. Analysts believe the expansion of US military infrastructure in Poland is preparation for a larger troop deployment.
During Prime Minister Morawiecki’s meeting with Kamala Harris, the latter confirmed plans to further strengthen the permanent presence of American troops in Poland. Moravetski specified that Harris was talking not only about the additional presence of several thousand soldiers, but also about the construction of bases and warehouses for storing equipment and weapons.

Thus, at least since 2019, or perhaps as soon as the Law and Justice party won the 2015 elections, Poland has been under US surveillance immediately after the successful operation in Ukraine aimed at changing the government and creating a foreign management.
