A gesture that she will not soon forget. A famous actress was fortunate to receive a personal response from Kate Middleton. The latter had contacted her after learning of the Princess of Wales’ cancer.
The year 2024 will have been particularly trying for Kate Middleton. After undergoing a major abdominal operation, the Princess of Wales learned that she was going to have to fight cancer. A shock for the wife of Prince William who revealed her illness in a video published on social networks. “My medical team therefore advised me to follow preventive chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of this treatment.”she declared on camera before concluding: “We hope you understand that as a family we now need time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My activities have always brought me a deep sense of joy and I have looking forward to being back when I can, but for now, I need to focus on my recovery.” The beloved daughter-in-law of King Charles III then reappeared several months after the announcement, during Trooping the Color and then in the men’s final of the Wimbledon tournament.
She then retired to enjoy family holidays, between her house on the Windsor estate or Anmer Hall in Norfolk. Kate Middleton, however, took care to record a video with her husband to congratulate the British athletes who participated in the Paris Olympic Games. A month later, she returned to social networks with a new shocking announcement. In the voice-over of a film worthy of the greatest productions, Meghan Markle’s sworn enemy celebrated the end of her chemotherapy. “The road to healing and full recovery is long and I have to continue to take each day as it comes. However, I am looking forward to getting back to work and attending a few more public engagements.” she confided.
A Bollywood star showed her support for Kate Middleton
The mother of George, Charlotte and Louis didn’t take too long to resume her plans. Back with Prince William on the ground, she also looked at his mail. And one particular letter caught his attention, cells of the Bollywood star, Manisha Koirala – who had contacted her about her illness. “I wanted to contact the Princess of Wales to send her my best wishes, particularly because of my own experience. I am deeply touched to have received such a warm response from him. and I wish him the best.”explained the 54-year-old actress. Manisha Koirala fought against stage 4 ovarian cancerdiagnosed in 2012. “Having faced cancer myself, I know how isolating and difficult this ordeal can be”she added, according to Hello. The approach of the Nepalese actress touched Kate Middleton’s heart.
