The neighbor asked her to move the coffin
The incident, which happened last October, went viral on TikTok, among others, and ended up on national news broadcasts in the United States after Selena shared a video from her door camera that showed the conversation with his neighbor.
What happened was that the neighbor called to say that it was unpleasant for his elderly father to look at the eerie cemetery decoration in front of the house next door. The reason was that he had recently received unpleasant news from the doctors, and he was sick of looking at the pillars of the tomb and the coffin.
“I know you celebrate Halloween, but my dad has been diagnosed with lung cancer and he thinks your decorations are scary. Do you think you can give him the coffin go away?” asked the neighbor.
He answered immediately
Since the neighbor’s father often visits and spends a lot of time in the garage looking over the Halloween garden, Selena had no doubt what to do.
She immediately removed most of the Halloween decorations and moved the weaker parts to the backyard. The skeletons were replaced with badminton rackets.
“I immediately got a little confused,” she said in an interview with Insider and continued:
“I realized that moving the basket wouldn’t hurt me, but it would make a big difference to my neighbor and his father. I didn’t want him to remind them what could happen if they didn’t beat the cancer.”
