The Guadalhorce also overflows in Cártama (Málaga)
The Guadalhorce river has also overflowed this afternoon in Cártama (Málaga), as it happened in the morning in Álora, and has caused similar images, although of a smaller magnitude, with flooded homes, people trapped in farmhouses and road blocks.
The large flow carried by the river due to the intense rains that have been recorded in the province of Málaga due to the dana has led to the activation of several rescue operations in Cártama, for example in the Nueva Aljaima neighborhood, for four adults, or in La Vega de Riarán, for a woman, as EFE sources have informed EFE.
The Civil Guard has requested the intervention of firefighters, with aquatic means, to solve these cases. Animals have also been isolated in farmhouse huts.
