Minuit” is a free cartoon concert for young and old. Meet at 3 p.m., Wednesday October 30, in the multipurpose room.

The ACL, the City of Clamecy and the Luxembourg producer, the Rotondes collective, have joined forces to offer a show for young audiences and families, this Wednesday, October 30, at 3 p.m., at the multipurpose hall, boulevard Misset. Midnight is a free cartoon concert.

Shadow and light

In each of us there is a battle between contrasts, where shadow opposes light. In this story freely inspired by Viscount slaina philosophical tale by the great Italian writer Italo Calvino (1923-1985), two musicians and an illustrator decompartmentalize genres, merge concert and drawing, to explore this duality which makes our inner richness. In real time, in front of the audience, they conjure a dreamlike universe which unfolds, in black and white, to music influenced by jazz and electro.

Rotondes, the producer, teamed up with the French producer, the collective Le Grain à moudre. “I am from Luxembourg, the project was born in Luxembourg and it was very important to work together to bring it to France,” explains Florence Kraus.

Two poly-instrumental musicians and a polytechnic illustrator bring to life with saxophone, keyboard and guitar, jazz and electro music intertwined with a graphic universe all in black and white. After around ten dates in Luxembourg and a visit to Metz, in Lorraine, it will be presented on Wednesday October 30 in Clamecy. On stage, a large screen will allow you to discover the designers in action. “There is projection of drawings on paper, manipulation of objects animated by a camera. A graphics tablet allows you to multiply the techniques,” underlines Florence Kraus.

At 4:30 p.m., a drawing workshop will be open to young audiences, led by the two designers Sophie Raynal and Coline Grandpierre (by reservation). Other dates are planned in 2025, notably in Gennevilliers in the Paris region, in Paris and Le Havre.

Inscriptions. For the young audience drawing workshop, at 4:30 p.m., reservations with the ACL, at 03.86.27.06.31
