In the midst of the dispute over leadership of the Justicialist Party (PJ) and the internal with Axel Kicillofthe former president Cristina Kirchner recalled this Wednesday the launch of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and launched harsh criticism against the government of Javier Miley.

“Today, October 29, 15 years have passed since the announcement and implementation of the Universal Child Allowancewhich allowed the children of informal or unemployed workers to have the same economic recognition as the children of formal workers,” added the former vice president.
In this way, Cristina stated, “being a universal and complementary remuneration with the world of registered work – when an unemployed person gets a registered job, they continued to receive exactly the same amount per child -, constituted a globally recognized social policy not only by result, but by way of implementation: without intermediaries and directly to every boy and girl up to the age of 18.”

Then came the criticism of Milei: “This social policy instrument has been so important for vulnerable sectors, that Milei’s government not only could not give him the chainsaw but, before the economic and social disaster what he is causing with his policies, had to double it compared to the amount that formal workers charge per childthus disengaging it from a virtuous system of promoting work and giving rise to a new inequality…”

Days ago, the libertarian administration decided increase los limits and ranges of household income and of the amounts of the family allowances from November. The increase to be applied is 3,47%in line with the index of the IPC published by INDEC. The measure was made official through Resolution 990/2024, signed by the head of the ANSES, Mariano of the Heroes.
From next month, in accordance with article 4 of that document, the perception of an income greater than $1.862.184 by one of the members of the family group, excludes said group from the collection of the family allowanceseven if the sum of your income (IGF) does not exceed the maximum income limit established in the annexes hereto, which is $3.724.368 .
