A pain that she describes as one of the worst of her life. During a concert in Las Vegas given this weekend as part of her “Weekends With Adele” residency, Adele admitted to being “partially deaf” in one ear after coming into contact with a “rare aquatic bacteria”.
A difficult episode for the British singer who revealed that she had felt intense pain during her series of ten giant concerts given in Munich in August. “I’ve never had one before. It was the most painful thing that ever happened to me. It was worse than childbirth,” she declared in comments relayed by the Mirror.
“It’s a rare aquatic bacteria. She is very difficult to treat. I took the wrong antibiotics for a few days and they managed to give me one which started to work,” said the 36-year-old singer. Luckily the pain went away today after being excruciating for a while. “I wanted to cut off my ear several times. “I don’t have any pain anymore, which is great, but I’m partially deaf in my left ear,” she said.
The singer has already made a name for herself this weekend during a performance of her song “When We Were Young”, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Adele was pleasantly surprised to see that Céline Dion was present among the audience and did not hesitate to interrupt her performance to exchange a hug full of emotion and tears with the Quebec singer, who was in the dressing room with her son René-Charles and his twins Nelson and Eddy.
