After the drama surrounding the release of her last film It Ends With Us, Blake Lively (37) celebrated a radiant comeback at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York. For the annual event, which always takes place at the American Museum of Natural History, the actress slipped into an elegant white dress with a one-sided thigh-high slit down the leg. She wore her long blonde hair in elegant waves that fell gently over her shoulders. Stars like Kylie Jenner (27) and Katie Holmes (45) were also guests at the event.
“It Ends With Us” premiered in August – but the anticipation was marred by all sorts of scandals. Blake in particular faced a lot of criticism for her behavior during the press tour: Many fans criticized the fact that Ryan Reynolds’ (48) wife did not adequately address the issue of domestic violence. Furthermore, there is said to have been a heated argument between her and co-star Justin Baldoni (40) during filming.
Despite the many negative headlines, the film attracted numerous fans to the cinemas and grossed a decent amount of money: the film cracked the $100 million mark on its eleventh day [ca. 92.453.000 Euro]. To date, “It Ends With Us” has grossed around 320.5 million euros worldwide.
