Mihail Mirchev is one of the non-standard candidates –

/ world today news/The local elections will prove whether BSP has learned its lesson. This was stated by the chairman of the BSP City Council, Kaloyan Pargov, in the program “Newsroom” on TV7.

“They will show if we’ve got it right, if we continue to give left blinkers then right turns as actions or if we’ve learned our lesson and we’re looking for more confidence to pull ourselves out of this electoral rock bottom that we hit last year “, he added.

“I am convinced that we are on the right track. Candidate Prof. Mihail Mirchev embodies this. The campaign we will lead will be based on this,” Pargov pointed out.

He explained that many options were sought before Prof. Mirchev was chosen as a candidate for mayor of the capital. “Prof. Mirchev was elected with a big lead, compared to the other candidates in the person of Georgi Kadiev and Gergana Alexieva.

Mihail Mirchev is one of the non-standard candidates that we are looking for and who has undertaken to be the candidate of the BSP in these complicated elections”, commented Pargov.

According to him, nothing is predetermined regarding the local elections and the candidate of the left has his real chances. “Prof. Mirchev is not a member of the Bulgarian Socialist Party. He is a sociologist, an academic and a teacher. He is not an ideologue and does not belong to any wing, said Pargov.

He also stated that the BSP’s march to power, which was announced on Mount Buzludzha by the leader of the centenary, Mikhail Mikov, symbolizes the party’s aspiration to regain the positions lost after October 5 last year in places, betting on its platforms and to regain the trust of the people
