The ATP World Rankings for men’s tennis as of October 28th have been updated.Kei Nishikori moved up one place to 140th place.

Nishikori, 34 years old and former world No. 4, participated in last week’s Erste Bank Open (Vienna, Austria, indoor hard, ATP500), but was defeated in the first round by J. Draper (Great Britain), who won the tournament. He gave in and lost the first match.
As a result, although his points did not change, he moved up one place in line with the other players.
Nishikori will be participating in the Slovak Open 2024 (Slovakia/Bratislava, indoor hard, ATP Challenger) this week, where he will face 3rd seed M. Fucsovics (Hungary) in the first round. Next week, he is scheduled to participate in the HPP Open (Finland/Helsinki, indoor hard, ATP Challenger) which starts on November 4th.
Elsewhere, Yoshihito Nishioka remains the top Japanese player at 64th place. Daniel Taro, who won his ninth Challenger tournament title last week at the Taipei OEC Open (Taiwan/Taipei, Indoor Hardware, ATP Challenger), rose 11 places to 78th place.
