“The Islamic State’s priority right now is to seize territory and establish the first caliphate. They deploy NGO-type structures and study the political environment, leaders, attitudes and then strike. The reasons why their supporters are emerging are three – out of conviction, because of financial payment and young people who are attracted by the romanticism and action that they can experience, but this is not the case,” Slavcho Velkov pointed out.
