/ world today news/ Tsvetelina Borislavova buys the apple orchards near Plovdiv, reports the local site Maritsa.

Santa Claus brought new acquisitions to two Bulgarian companies – the investment fund “Siesayef” of Tsvetelina Borislavova and “Toplivo”, controlled by Bedo Doganyan, informed the publication, referring to “Press”.

“Siesayef” will buy the company “Sunny Apple”, which owns one of the largest apple orchards in our country. His assets include 1,760 decares in the lands of the Plovdiv villages Dink, Dulgo Pole and Graf Ignatievo. The upcoming transaction is reported in “Press”, referring to a notification to the Commission for the Protection of Competition.

Until a few years ago, the orchards in Plovdiv were owned by two companies, in which the largest shareholder is Petar Drashkov – brother of the former vice-chairman of DANS Ivan Drashkov. In 2010-2011, due to unpaid debts, the control over the apple orchards was taken over by the Bulgarian-American Credit Bank, and later by Sunny Apple. In recent years, the garden has been taken care of by “Agroproduct” – owned by Krasimir Kumchev, one of our biggest specialists in apple plantations. The varieties “Golden Superior”, “Red Superior”, “Aidared” and other varieties are grown there.

The other “celebratory” deal was announced in the announcement to the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. Toplivo’s management announced that they had bought 50% of the Kazakh company “Rama Petroleum”. The price of the deal was not disclosed. The company is headquartered in Almaty. its activity is trade in propane-butane, oil and oil products.
