Spanish newspaper Marca has reportedly published the Ballon d’Or 2024 results. Real Madrid’s Brazilian international Vinicius Jr will receive the award, according to results published by Marca, Sports Bible reports.

The paper said that Vinicius came out on top by voting. Vinicius came first with 630 points. Manchester City defensive midfielder Rhodri is second with 576 points. England international Jude Bellingham, who is Winnie’s teammate at Royal, is reported to have come third.

Kylian Mbappe, one of the best strikers of this generation, finished fourth. According to the report, Bayern’s Harry Kane was fifth and Man City’s Erling Haaland was sixth.

The Marca report also suggests that Phil Foden, Dani Olmo, Florian Wirtz, Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rudiger and Barça teenager Lamin Yamal will make the top 12.

The famous Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place at the Chatelet Theater in Paris. The prize winner will be announced at 12.30 PM IST (29/10/24).

The Ballon d’Or award was started in 1956 by the magazine France Football to choose the best player in the world of football. The winner will be chosen by voting.

A panel of journalists from countries that are in the top 100 in men’s football and the top 50 in women’s football will take part in the voting.
