Eboli, false documents for residence permit: 16 precautionary measures – ALL THE NAMES

EboliI am 16 people are under investigation from the Dda of Salerno and achieved by precautionary measures issued by the investigating judge of the Salerno Court as part of an investigation into a criminal association that produced false documents to obtain the entry and illegal stay of non-EU citizens in Italy. The investigating judge ordered the precautionary custody in prison for 2 people, house arrest for 11 others and the obligation to stay for 3 suspects.

The crimes contested, for various reasons, are criminal association aimed at committing an indeterminate series of crimes relating to immigration and forgery, devastation, fire as well as further crimes against insurance companies. According to what has been reconstructed, the suspects were members of an association active in the Sele Plain and, through compliant employers and employment assistance centres, they would have produced and presented false documentation useful to encourage, through the 2020 decree on flows and emergence from irregular work, the illegal entry and stay in the national territory of non-EU citizens .

To activate the process of emerging from irregular work, the sum requested by the organization would have been around 3 thousand eurosof which 1,300 required to the employer as well as the sum of approximately euros 1500 per capita relating to seasonal flows. On 23 March 2020, two of the suspects, in order to receive compensation for damage, allegedly set fire to a house in Postillion and insured for 1.4 million euros.
