The SVOD platform Netflix is launching a new feature that will make it easy to share extracts from your favorite series.
Rather than letting users compete in ingenuity to share extracts on social networks, Netflix is launching a new feature called “Moments” and which aims to “save, relive and share” your favorite scenes from programs on the platform .
Share your favorite clips from Netflix shows
Accessible on iOS from this Monday, October 28 – and soon on Android – Moments concerns series as well as films and documentaries. Via a new button accessible during playback, at the bottom left of the screen (alongside the playback speed option), you can record the sequence you want before sharing it on the various social networks or with his friends.

Instagram Stories, Whatsapp, Messenger, X or even Snapchat and much more are available via the share button on your iPhone or iPad. Even better: saved sequences are stored in the “My Netflix” tab. We can then see them again at will.
For Netflix, this sharing option is obviously self-serving: the sequences broadcast by users are not directly visible on social networks. In reality, they are accompanied by a link to Netflix to “view it in its original context”, and therefore invite users charmed by it to be able to subscribe or be able to watch the entire episode , film or documentary.
The platform specifies in passing that other features could enrich the Moments. A ranking of the most sequenced series is also available on a dedicated page.
