For the first time on television, Cris Morena, together with Franco and Valentín, Romina Yan’s children, gave an interview. They chose to do it in the living room of Susana Giménez, a great friend of theirs, where the producer also presented a show of Margarita, the series that Telefe currently broadcasts and is her latest creation.
“The best surprise they gave me was coming with my grandchildren. “I’m dying of love and pride,” he confessed, taking their hands and already installed in the armchairs. There he announced that his latest production will arrive at the Movistar Arena. “10,000 people come in and it’s like making three Grand Rexes in one day,” he said.
“I always wanted to be an actor,” said Franco, who chose to follow in the footsteps of his mother and his maternal family linked to art and television. “There are five generations. From Jaime, Samuel, Gustavo, Romina and now me,” he listed, about how his mother, his grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather are a very important part of the history of television.
Romina Yan’s eldest son said that he studied theater in London, but that his love for acting began from a very young age. “I knew it when I was 8 years old. I have a very nice memory that we were at home with mom. I did an improvised piece for him and then I said ‘I think this is my thing’. I always liked to play like any other boy, but when I started playing other people, people liked it and you could make a living from it,” he expressed.

Valentín, for his part, spoke of Gustavo Yankelevich’s support in his dream of becoming a professional pilot. “You don’t know how fast he runs. “I’m terrified,” Cris commented about her grandson’s hobby. “I am racing in karting and I am also working in Marcelo Ambrogio’s TC2000 team, hoping next year to be able to make my debut,” he said.

“I like to sing, but I’m embarrassed,” he acknowledged, while Cris detailed that Franco used to speak very little and now he even makes streaming broadcasts. “I’m shy but if the camera turns on we can’t look bad,” he added, with grace.
Cris Morena also referred to the process of creating Margarita. He said that the project was born during the first 15 days of confinement of the pandemic and that he shared them with Tomás Yankelevich, his son, alone. There he asked her what she was working on and in just one day she wrote the first eleven pages of the story and “A lot, a little or nothing,” the main song of the fiction.
The producer also received a special surprise. His granddaughter Azul, also daughter of Romina Yan, and Inti and Mila, Tomás’ children, recorded messages dedicating words of love to him.
