The Rolls-Royce Phantom Goldfinger has a small detail that you probably couldn’t afford either

Those who have extra money do things like that.

Who can afford a Rolls-Royce? Few people. Who can afford a Customized Rolls-Royce? Even fewer people. Who can afford a one-off de Rolls-Royce? Just a handful of individuals in the world. The worst thing is that in the latter there are even details that, on their own, ordinary mortals would not be able to access either.

The latest example of this is found in Rolls-Royce Phantom Goldfingerthe latest work to come out of the Bespoke Collective workshop, inspired by the legendary James Bond film and which, as the name suggests, has gold as the center of the project.

The thing is that in this case it is not figuratively, it is literally structured around the oro.

And, among the multiple and striking details that this unique Phantom in the world brings to the table, it turns out that there is directly a 18-karat gold bar shaped like a vehicle and it is hidden in a secret compartment in the center console, just in front of the armrest.

It is a most peculiar detail, but the truth is that the entire vehicle, both exterior and interior, is full of elements made of the precious metal.

The first is the iconic ‘Spirit of Ecstasy‘, which makes an appearance once again, but this time it is also plated in 18 carat gold. However, it is not completely covered, only in certain areas, which causes its brightness to vary depending on how the light hits it and the angle of the observer’s point of view.

Moving on to the cabin, metal also shapes the air vents or speakers that can be seen on the doors, as well as the design of the molding that runs along the entire dashboard and that represents an isobar map of one of the places where the Goldfinger movie takes place.

This format has also been applied to the picnic tables in the rear seats that extend from the back of the front seats. They are made of walnut wood and are engraved with a fictional map of Fort Knox, like the one in the movie, in which all the lines, at least one millimeter wide, are made of 22-karat gold.

The icing on the cake is in the trunk: a gold golf club which has its own anchor inside the gate.

Chris Brownridge, ejecting director of Rolls-Royce Motor Carssaid: “At Rolls-Royce, we are dedicated to creating deeply personal masterpieces that reshape the boundaries of possibility and truly define the essence of luxury. “Each creation is a reflection of our commitment to producing extraordinary and unique automobiles that consistently delight and exceed our customers’ expectations.”

“This particular project really strengthened our team of creatives, giving them the freedom to explore the reaches of their imagination. “The final creation is a testament to the power of collaboration and the extraordinary skill of our designers, craftsmen and engineers,” he explains.
