The researchers National Civil Police (PNC) and prosecutors of the Ministry of Public (MP) They arrested a woman accused of murdering an 18-year-old pregnant girl in Puerto Barrios, Izabal.
According to the report, on Friday, October 25, representatives of the Department of Special Criminal Investigation (DEIC) and the MP raided a home in the El Mitch area, after receiving a complaint.

At the site, the authorities found Thelma Yulissa Marroquin33 years old. She is accused of murdering the young mother and stealing the seven-month-old fetus she was carrying.
In less than 24 hours, the person allegedly responsible for the crime of a woman and the extraction of a seven-month-old fetus was caught.

Find the child’s body
After the arrest, authorities looked for evidence elsewhere. In a bamboo plantation in the La Esperanza area, they found the fetus inside a sack and wrapped in baby clothes. This land belongs to the relatives of the person being cared for.
