/ world today news/ The acceptance of documents for the registration of parties and coalitions for participation in the elections for municipal councilors and for mayors begins today, August 25, at the Central Election Commission.
The acceptance of the documents takes place every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the building of the National Assembly on “Knyaz Alexander I” square. The deadline for submitting documents for the registration of a party or coalition is 18:00 on September 9.
GERB has already announced that the party will once again be the first to register with the CEC for the upcoming local elections. Members of the party’s youth organization have been on duty around the clock on the steps in front of the CEC since August 10. Thus, on the first day of the acceptance of registrations, at 9:00 a.m., the documents and necessary signatures for the local vote will be submitted by the Chairman of the National Election Staff and Deputy Chairman of GERB Tsvetan Tsvetanov and by the Deputy Chairman of the Staff and Administrative Secretary of the party Tsvetomir Paunov.
On October 25, elections for municipal councilors and for mayors will be held together with a national referendum with the question: “Do you support the possibility of voting remotely by electronic means when conducting elections and referenda”.
