I have been the proud owner of an E92 320xd with M package ex works for 2 weeks. BJ 2012.
I spend a lot of time in the car and wanted to adapt the entertainment to my needs.
I mean Spotify integration and gimmicks via BMW Online.
When I’m connected via Bluetooth, I’m shown information such as song, artist, album and I can also switch between tracks using the steering wheel.
The cover is shown to me for the first 2 tracks via USB. After that, the cover remains the same for all other tracks.
I would like to have Spotify as an app or at least have the cover displayed.
I bought BMW Services because I saw that many people have Spotify as an app on BMW Online. At that time it was called Connected Drive.
For example, the package also includes the intelligent emergency call assistant. I don’t know whether this will work for me in this case.
When I start BMW Online, it takes a long time to load and then sometimes something like data transfer is active and in 2 out of 5 cases the hotspot is activated via my iPhone 14.
Then at some point this message comes up:

Of course the data services are activated.
I uploaded the message to Idrive as an image and my multimedia equipment.
Customer service said the car was throttled to 2G once ??… they just said keep trying.
I hope you can help me how I can better integrate Spotify and get my BMW Online up and running.
