Mikaela Testa gave her followers a heartbreaking update about her mental well-being, almost two years after she was weight-shamed by an Australian influencer.
The Australian influencer, 24, posted a touching clip on TikTok in which she revealed she was still struggling with her confidence after Adelaide model Kerri Gribble embarrassed her in a scathing video in December 2022.
“It’s been almost two years since that bitch called me fat in a Snapchat video. It still affects me today,” Mikaela began.
Mikaela added that she is often approached by fans on the street and asked why she doesn’t post as much on social media as she used to, and she revealed that it was because the video shattered her confidence.
“It’s that bitch from Adelaide. Before that, they had never called me fat or lacking. “I had never experienced being looked down upon,” he continued.

Model Kerri, 23, living in Adelaide, declared that “social media is fake” and “Mikaela Testa is fat in person” in a clip shared on Snapchat.
There was an instant reaction from fans of Mikaela, who hails from Melbourne and has a massive 3.1 million followers on TikTok.

Countless social media users then tagged online Australian fashion retailer White Fox Boutique, who Kerri promoted on her social media at the time.
“I will not shop at White Fox again if they support a certain body shamer of other women,” one angry fan wrote in a clip shared on TikTok.

Following the controversy, Kerri shared a lengthy written apology on social media, in which she insisted there was “more to the story.”
“I think I see the world differently, but I’m not going to sit here and beat myself up for saying something bad about something, because I’m human, we all do it with our friends,” she wrote.
She went on to say that she was simply surprised that Mikaela “looked different in person” and that she didn’t consider summoning a certain “transcendental” to be an insult.
