Prince of Monaco Albert represented on Wednesday at the Princess Grace Awards gala in New York. Albert’s mother’s princess Grace’s in the named gala, the performing artists are rewarded.

Albert, 66, had taken as his companion a family member rarely seen in public: his daughter Jazmin Grimaldin32. Jazmin is Albert’s daughter and an American who once worked as a waitress Tamara Rotolon illegitimate daughter.

Albert, represented in a black suit, and Jazmin, dressed in a metallic, flower-patterned evening dress, posed smiling for the cameras on the red carpet.

Jazmin is the oldest of Albert’s children. Before her marriage, the princess Charlene Albert also had a child with a Togolese flight attendant Nicole Costen with. The couple’s son Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste is now 21 years old. Jazmin and Alexandre do not have royal titles.

Albert and Charlene have 9-year-old twins Prince Jacques and the princess Gabriella.

There have been rumors in the public that Albert would have more children. Most recently, in 2020, a Brazilian woman living in Italy claimed in a lawsuit that Albert is the father of her 15-year-old daughter. Albert has denied it.

A phased relationship

Albert acknowledged Alexandre’s paternity in 2005, when the boy was two years old. It took longer with Jazmin. Albert admitted he was Jazmin’s father after a DNA test in 2006 when she was 14 years old.

Jazmin talked about her relationship with the royal family of Monaco in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2015. Jazmin said that she always knew she was Albert’s daughter.

Growing up, Jazmin kept in touch with her father through random messages, but the distance only got closer later, when Jazmin visited Monaco for the first time at the age of 11.

Over the years, Jazmin has been involved in celebrating her family’s anniversaries in Monaco. He has also been photographed together with his father in public from time to time.

As an adult, Jazmin Grimaldi has made a career as an actress, singer and activist.
