People who live on Camerer Street observed an intense police movement in that sector of the Omega neighborhood of Bariloche early this Saturday morning. Nobody knew what was happening. Judicial sources reported that A young man was shot twice and is hospitalized in serious condition. They said that due to the firearm attack there is a woman detained suspected of attempted murder.
The sources commented that the young woman was detained this Saturday morning because suspicions point to her as the author of the shots against the victim, who is fighting for her life in the intensive care unit of the Ramón Carrillo hospital in this city. The young woman is not the only one arrested for the attempted murder. Sources kept the identities of the suspect and victim confidential.
There are four other suspects who were arrested this Saturday. Investigators are trying to establish the connection that these four arrested people have with the attempted murder.
According to sources, The young man entered the lot where there are two homes at dawn. Minutes later, he walked out, but was seriously injured after receiving the two bullets. The injured man’s movements were recorded on a security camera, sources revealed. Investigators believe the conflict possibly arose over a drug sales issue.
The injured man was helped and taken by car to the hospital, located in the center of Bariloche, where he underwent surgery and, later, iintern in intensive care.
Extensive police deployment in the Omega neighborhood
Police from the 28th police station went this Saturday morning to the address where the incident under investigation occurred. Also, members of the Judicial Investigations Brigade and the Criminalistics Cabinet.
The police blocked Camerer Street to traffic, to rake that sector. The prosecutor on duty César Lanfranchi was at the home where the attempted murder occurred to coordinate the investigations and the first proceedings. The investigation just took less than 20 hours.
The sources announced that Lanfranchi was preparing the request for a hearing for the formulation of charges against the detained young woman and the other four arrested suspects. They indicated that the hearing will probably take place tomorrow, Sunday.
Three homicides in 19 days in Bariloche
So far in October there have been three murders. On the night of October 5, Lucas Gatica was killed outside a grocery store, located on Onelli and Vilcapugio. The victim was with his family when he was shot in the street. The prosecution charged Agustín Rasini with that homicide and imposed preventive detention on him.
On the afternoon of October 18, Sebastián Ojeda Ferro was killed. They shot him in the municipal cemetery. José Evaristo Chávez Aguilar, who is housed in prison 3 of this city, was accused of this crime.
On October 22, Víctor Alfonso Tecas Vera was murdered with a gunshot wound. Lanfranchi attributed the homicide to Sebastián Luis Caniupan (22), Tupac Nehuen Bustos Yáñez (23) and Tamara Torres (24), who were detained in preventive detention.
