Minister of State Prasetyo Hadi announced that President Prabowo Subianto had appointed former PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono becomes the CEO of IKN Authority. However, it is not yet known when the official inauguration will be.
“That’s it, that’s it. Pak Basuki has been asked to continue,” Prasetyo told reporters at Akmil, Magelang, Central Java, Sunday (27/10/2024).
Prasetyo emphasized Prabowi’s commitment to the continued development of IKN until its completion. Prabowo’s target is to accelerate legislative and legal development in the next 4 years.

Prasetyo did not talk about the development strategy. He confirmed that everything would be built as soon as possible.
