The XXI Ordinary Congress of the National Central of Workers of Panama (CNTP) today condemned the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba more than six decades ago.
In accordance with the Resolution approved by delegates from the entire Isthmus country in the great event that concludes tomorrow, Saturday, successive American governments have promoted, without achieving the expected results, various hostile actions aimed at destroying the triumphant Revolution in 1959.
One of the largest labor confederations of the Central American country specified in the text previously evaluated in commissions, that the current energy emergency situation that the largest of the Antilles is experiencing, due among other causes to the lack of fuel, is a consequence of the inhuman policy and He urged solidarity.
Despite the complex panorama, the text adds, the Cuban Government and people fight tirelessly to provide the population with health, education, work, security and food.
Likewise, they indicate that the Caribbean nation is one of the countries with the highest levels of human, educational, social, scientific and technological development, being an example for Latin America, where social inequality and poverty prevail.
The CNTP also conveyed to the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, the fraternal and supportive support for those who work tirelessly for the well-being and peace of their population.
On the penultimate day of the XXI Congress of the CNTP, other resolutions in support of Nicaragua and Venezuela were also approved, which also face increasing economic, political and media manipulation campaigns, part of the strategy of neoliberal models, according to the respective documents. .
