Another publisher is suspending cooperation with Legi

The Legimi platform will introduce a new fee

The e-book and audiobook platform Legimi announced last week that from October 22, he will provide a Club Catalog, which, in addition to the usual subscription (cost PLN 49.99 for e-books and audiobooks, and PLN 44.99 for e-books only), you have to pay PLN 14.99 to access each book. The new package was to include about 20 percent. all titles available on the platform.

Why the extra cost? Legimi explains it by coming in mid-September on the change to the Copyright Act and the impact of discussions with some content providers. (mostly book publishing houses). The users of the website did not like having to bear the costs of changing the platform according to the new rules. There have been many announcements about canceling subscriptions to Legimi.
