Participants & favorites at the ATP Paris Masters 2024

Who are the favorites for the ATP Paris Masters 2024? A question that is not easy to answer in advance. There are many candidates to win the title at the last Masters1000 tournament of the year.

There are two names above all others on the list of ATP Paris Masters favorites: Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, numbers 1 and 2 in the ATP world rankings.

Both have dominated the tennis scene this year – they shared the four Grand Slam titles fairly between themselves.

However, Sinner has 7 titles this season, most recently winning the Masters tournament in Shanghai. Alcaraz has four this year. His last title win was the hard court tournament in Beijing.

Tennis tips & bets

Given the ATP world rankings, there are a few other title favorites for the 2024 ATP Paris-Bercy Masters before the tournament begins.

For example, there is Alexander Zverev, third in the world rankings, and Daniil Medvedev, number 5 in the ATP rankings. Medvedev has already won the Paris Masters once – that was in 2020.

Holger Rune, the 2022 winner, could also be on the Paris Masters 2024 schedule for a long time. The Dane reached the quarterfinals at the Basel tournament. As does Ben Shelton (USA), who, like some of his US colleagues (Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul), is one of the extended favorites.

With last year’s finalist Grigor Dimitrov (BUL), Alex de Minaur (AUS) and Andrey Rublev (RUS) – in the semifinals last year – there are three other top 10 players who should have a chance of winning the tournament.

However, one big player is missing from the Paris Bercy 2024 participant list: Novak Djokovic. The Serbian veteran is not only last year’s winner, but also the record winner of this event.

Participants: The Paris Masters seeding list 2024

  1. Jannik Sinner (ITA)

  4. Daniil Medvedev (RUS)
  5. Andrey Rublev (RUS)
  6. Caspar Ruud (DEN)
  7. Grigor Dimitrov (BUL)
  8. Alex de Minaur (AUS)
