This weekend, 9-year-old Robin Raikkonen took part in the world finals of the Grand Finals Rotax Max Challenge karting competition, which will be held in the Italian city of Sarno.

Raikkonen Jr has earned the right to compete in these international championships because won The Swiss champion in the Micro category, and now he has benefited from the fighting spirit inherited from his father, the 2007 world champion.

He was unlucky in the preliminary rounds and semi-finals; his opponents pushed him off the track, so in the final he started from 22nd position away.
