A few days ago we were talking about the Horror Sleepover that the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) is organizing at the Jaime Torres Bodet Cultural Center (known as ‘El Queso’), as part of its themed activities for Halloween.
However, there will also be a Day of the Dead Festival, because according to Daniel Barajas Romero, in charge of the Cultural Events Department of ‘El Queso’: “we do not leave Mexican traditions aside.”
Here we tell you the details of this event that will last 3 days and will have various experiences.
The activities of the Day of the Dead Festival begin on Monday, October 28, continue on Tuesday the 29th and end on Wednesday the 30th.

The Day of the Dead Festival will feature 18 activities that “aim to keep Mexican traditions alive and not give in to the Halloween tradition,” according to Barajas Romero.
On the esplanade of ‘El Queso’ the offerings of each academic unit will be installed and can be seen in full on the afternoon of Wednesday the 30th… in the same way, they will have a virtual contest of offerings, since some screens will project those that cannot be exhibited at the event venue.
