During the general assembly of the Cunac animation committee, president Pauline Bourgy recalled the events organized for the 2023-2024 season with nine belote competitions, a New Year’s Eve on December 31, participation in Pink October and the celebration of three-day village in June.
The group of volunteers is growing with the arrival of new members including Ambre and her friends.
“We are more efficient at the various events with these additional staff. We can therefore do excellent work during the various events.” The positive financial report, presented by Jean-Pierre Tressiéres, indicates a municipal subsidy from Cunac in the amount of €1,800. The association has invested in new equipment for better operation with new speakers, trestles, a reel and t-shirts recognizable by the logo of the animation committee for the volunteers.
In terms of projects for 2024-2025, participation in Pink October, New Year’s Eve on December 31, eleven belotes planned, the first of which takes place this evening at 8:30 p.m. in the Cunac performance hall, the aubades on Saturday May 24, the festival of village from Thursday June 26 to Sunday June 29. The committee which would like to change the entertainment group, because the Miami group has been present for 3 years, is studying the arrival of other orchestras. The office is renewed: president Pauline Bourgy, treasurer Jean Pierre Tressiéres, secretary Sylvie Marty.
