He added that talks were held on the matter with Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski and Finance Minister Petar Chobanov. “If the budget is implemented well, it would be fair to the pensioners who receive lower pensions,” believes the BSP leader. According to him, this should be the government’s practice in the coming years as well. Stanishev categorically denied that the supplements were related to the European elections.
“Next year, the elections will be local and will be held in the fall. This does not mean that there should not be an Easter allowance then, on the contrary,” commented the social leader.
