Primorsky hockey club “Admiral” unsuccessfully started a new away series in Kazan with a dry loss from “Ak Bars“. The hosts upset goalkeeper Andrei Mishurov twice in the game. Kirill Semenov scored both goals in the first and third period – 2:0.

In the second period, “Admiral” looked a little more interesting in the attack, but the efforts of the “sailors” were in vain. And at the beginning of the third 20-minute period, Shestakov left the “sailors” in the minority for two minutes for hitting with his stick. And this removal could be fatal. Miller beat Mishurov on the counter, but after the coach’s request, the judges saw Galimov playing with a high stick on replay, so the goal was disallowed.
The Kazan team kept their smallest advantage until the last minutes. In the last seconds of the game, the “sailors” removed the goalkeeper, created an attack on the opponent’s goal, but did not score, on the contrary, they made a mistake, which turned into an empty goal for Ak Bars: Semyonov advanced on the right side, pushed the puck past the opponent and scored a double, setting the final result at 2:0.
“In terms of work, in terms of attitude, everything is fine, I missed a goal. There were moments, but it was not obvious, one hundred percent minute. There was a lack of sharpness, especially at the end, and a lack of freshness, it was obvious. The boys are still great – they fought, they tried. Thrown away puck? Thanks to our video coach, he suggested that the game be played with a high stick. Thanks to his professionalism, he kept us in the game. This is not the type of game we want to see in attack. There were periods, in the second period movements were applied.
