In a regretful press release “a frantic race for numbers”the Sud Santé sociale union denounces the transformation of cardiology services into “factory at heart”. He evokes « the infernal cadence » imposed on caregivers, schedules “constantly modified”while ensuring that the project has been launched “without real consultation”, which management disputes.

“No difficulty recruiting”

The union is also concerned about the reception conditions for patients with “screens insufficient to preserve professional secrecy and privacy, long examinations without sheets or blankets, with unsuitable outfits…” He also fears workforce reductions, while the director of human resources, Anne-Sophie Maure de Lima, announces fourteen creations of positions for nurses, caregivers, dietitians and secretaries. “To respect the recruitment time, the outpatient reception lounge, which required €280,000 of work, will not open fully in November but gradually”she specifies.

HR ensures that positions “generate quite a few applications” and there is no “no difficulty recruiting” while there will be needs for years to come. Two hospital cardiology practitioners were hired last year, one this year, and a fourth will be hired next year.

“Changes are difficult and we can understand that, but the subjects are well framed and the project results from collective work. » She did not note any “specific tensions”, “nor absenteeism” in the service. The schedules have been adjusted. “In the event of blocking individual situations, the agents were received…”
