- The sessions in November will present the customs and traditions of Madagascar through music with the concert “Kilema.Madagascar”.
More than 700 students from eleven schools in Pozuelo de Alarcón have learned about rhythm and percussion instruments these days through the “Pedagogical Concerts” organized by the City Council with the aim of bringing and discovering music to the little ones so that they can learn about instruments, musical styles, composers and melodies, among others.
Thus, this week these 5th and 6th grade Primary school students visited the Educarte space and attended the concert “We are missing the percussion” and in which the main protagonist was the drums.
This programming will continue in November with the concert “Kilema. Madagascar”, with which the customs and traditions of Madagascar will be made known through music, thus promoting attitudes of tolerance, peace and understanding towards different cultural realities. On this occasion, the concerts are aimed at 3rd and 4th grade students.
The Pedagogical concerts, which take place during the course and until the month of May, are part of the educational offer that the City Council offers to educational centers to complement and support education in music and arts for the little ones and which is added to other initiatives such as music exhibitions or theater workshops, among others.
