Los Angeles (dpa) – After a perfect start for the Minnesota Vikings NFL-Lost season for the second time in a row and suffered a setback in the fight for the division victory. The Vikings lost 20:30 against the Los Angeles Rams. The previous week, the Vikings suffered their first loss against the division rivals Detroit Lions led by Amon-Ra St. Brown and now they have slipped to second place in the NFC North. The Lions will play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, who have won only one of six games so far, and can solidify first place.
The Rams returned to the fight for the playoffs with their second win in a row and now have three wins and four losses. The Seattle Seahawks are atop the NFC West with four wins and three losses. The Rams and Seahawks will play each other next week. Seattle will face the strong Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Each division winner is guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford impressed the Vikings with four touchdown passes for Los Angeles. A mistake by the referees, who overlooked a foul on Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold with two minutes left, spelled the Rams’ success.
