The 21st Baekje Ancient City Buyeo Chrysanthemum Festival will be held for 10 days from October 25 to November 3 at Gungnamji, Buyeo.
This year’s festival is themed ‘The love story of Seodong and Seonhwa with the scent of chrysanthemums’, and over 40,000 chrysanthemum works will be displayed against the backdrop of the beautiful autumn scenery of Buyeo, the ancient capital of Baekje.
The 30,000㎡ event venue is decorated with colorful small sculptures and various chrysanthemum works, providing a wealth of attractions that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

In particular, there is a sculpture commemorating the love of Seodong and Seonhwa as a special work tailored to the theme of this year’s festival, and through this, visitors can shed new light on the history and love story of Baekje.
This sculpture is a popular photo zone where you can take pictures with chrysanthemums, and is popular with families.
On weekends, the ‘Outing Yoga’ program is held. Healing yoga, where you become one with nature in the scent of chrysanthemums, is a program that helps relieve stress and stabilize your mind and body.
You can experience a variety of movements, from light stretching to deep breathing techniques. It is taught directly by a professional yoga instructor and is designed at a level of difficulty that even yoga beginners can easily follow.

The ‘Outing Yoga’ program is available for free on a first-come, first-served basis and runs from October 26th to October 27th at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
During the festival, chrysanthemum tea tasting, traditional tea ceremony experience, free photo printing, various experience booths, and agricultural product promotion events will also be held.
You can listen to explanations about the works on display through the chrysanthemum interpreter program, and leave memories while feeling the mood of fall with various sculptures decorated with chrysanthemums.
A variety of cultural performances are also prepared at the Buyeo Chrysanthemum Festival. Performances of various genres, from small-scale street performances to traditional art performances, enrich the festival atmosphere.

In particular, the program where you can experience a traditional tea ceremony while drinking chrysanthemum tea provides a special experience to enjoy the autumn atmosphere.
At the same time, various side events such as the Button Mushroom and Shiitake Mushroom Festival (October 25 – October 28) and cultural delivery to all corners of the country (November 2) will be held at Gungnamji in Buyeo, providing visitors with more things to see and enjoy.
