/ world today news/ Whether the large-scale counteroffensive advertised by Kiev, the dates of which have been postponed again and again, will take place is an open and important question. Kiev is whining about its lack of ammunition and weapons, the Western media is vigorously making waves about the unpreparedness of Ukraine’s armed forces, and the Pentagon is publicly justifying the leakage of top-secret plans leaked online by a lower-ranking person. But there are details that show that they are persistently trying to deceive us and surprise us.
The infopsychs are on the march again
In the past week, on two occasions, right against the background of the sentence of Ilnaz Galyaviev, who committed a bloody massacre in Kazan gymnasium No. 175 (nine people died, including seven children; more than 130 were injured), reports appeared on the ru-net about upcoming attacks on schools.
First, a certain “Kazan Breivik”, as he calls himself, threatened to repeat the “day of flesh and blood” in the same place, in the capital of Tatarstan: to blow up a shopping center and shoot at a mosque and school No. 70.
He posted statements on his TG channel. Naturally, the special services reacted to the threats, checked – and found out that Yaroslav O., a resident of Kryvyi Rih, was behind these threats.
He was also previously noted for inciting a 14-year-old teenager to attack an educational institution. But then the FSB acted preemptively and the tragedy was avoided.
This instigator from Kryvyi Rih, according to a source from Tsarigrad, both times acted on the instructions of the SBU.
They informed in advance about the upcoming massacre that they were preparing improvised explosive devices and sent a threatening letter. But it turned out that in this case, too, his “legs grow” from Ukraine.
“Classic”, one might say, in the work of TsIPSO: to make us nervous. Now many have forgotten, but this was observed during the period of escalation of the situation in Donbas – just before we started the SVO, in January last year,” the source of “Tsarigrad” reminds.
That is true. At the beginning of last year, a wave of false alarms about attacks on schools, courts and shopping centers swept the whole country: then “First Russian” dedicated a large investigation into the activities of Ukrainian “infopsychics”, in which we showed who is doing this and why.
Something similar is happening right now. But – with additional “options”.
At the same time, anonymous phone calls with threats became more frequent, the number of videos with all kinds of atrocities allegedly committed by the Russian military – both against the enemy (beheadings) and against their own (harassment of the “guilty” in the SVO area).
There is stuffing about the massing of some huge forces near the contact line now in one place, now in another, footage of the movement of equipment for the VSU (despite the fact that such filming is prohibited in Nezalezhnaya on pain of imprisonment).
One after another, drones fall senselessly, falling short of their targets (fortunately), including in the immediate vicinity of Moscow. The equally militarily useless shelling of border areas, diversionary attacks, etc. continue.
“Of course, we should expect false stress messages from the Center for Information Security and Prevention under the guise of our “emergency services” via SMS and messengers in the border regions – Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod – that “everyone should hide”, or, that there is a “breakthrough of saboteurs”, “explosions of strategic and social objects. There will probably be hacks of local radio stations, official websites, etc.,” our interlocutor believes.
Bluff or threat?
Psychological pressure is an attribute of every war, confirms retired FSB general Alexander Mihailov. And it will continue to grow because its essence is to sow fear and foreboding.
“I believe there will definitely be a counteroffensive in some form,” he said.
“This is an absolutely logical continuation of the policy led by Kiev. Moreover, they have already promised all their bosses that this will happen,” notes the general.
Political scientist Mikhail Pavliv also has no doubt that the notorious counter-offensive is indeed being prepared. However, he draws attention to the “false targets” skillfully placed by the enemy within the framework of the information war, which are intercepted, including by our media, thus achieving the desired effect.
“Note: neither at Ugledar, nor at Bakhmut, nor at Avdiivka or Kremennaya do we see Western equipment arriving in Ukraine. And it definitely exists. So it’s going somewhere,” Pavliv is convinced.
“The fact that enemy clusters are fixed here and there also has a play: in regrouping and forming imaginary goals and directions,” he says.
“In particular, we are observing activation in the lower reaches of the Dnieper, where the landing of small groups takes place according to a certain system. In other words, a deliberate and noticeable activation, but also aimed at confusion,” Pavliv believes.
As for the enemy structures waging an information war against us, he continued, their activity should be seen not in isolation from the rest of the event, but as part of a large cover-up campaign.
“In particular, the leak of secret plans for the spring offensive, picked up by the leading Western media, is another indicator that a professional cover-up information campaign is underway,” says Pavliv.
“Once again, false expectations and goals are being created that look like attempts to manipulate the facts,” he continues.
“There is an expression of false, in my opinion, difficulties with the supply of shells to Ukraine, in general, a whole set of work is being carried out to hide the true state of affairs, to confuse and create false estimates of the reserves that the armed they have strength,” emphasizes the expert.
And the accumulation of sentiments in society to make people live in constant tension and fear – these are the methods that are very effective. Especially in combination with the activation of the front – with an increase in the number of killed and wounded – an increased psychological background is created, which gives opportunities for manipulation.
What of this?
General Alexander Mihailov has no doubts that the competent services have an adequate idea of the real situation, analysts estimate. And attempts to confuse us, to force us to rush to these false goals that Mikhail Pavliv speaks of, will fail.
On the other hand, society itself needs to understand what exactly is happening. And this requires both concrete actions and a timely – and honest – reaction to this or that event. And today we have to be content with the vile comments of officials and media sources.
A vivid example of this is the situation with the bombing of the Su-34 in Belgorod: no one has yet given an official explanation of what exactly happened and, most importantly, why. Of which the enemy accordingly took advantage, spreading a mass of disinformation through its channels.
And until we learn to react to such things, we will constantly be one step behind the enemy. Time to fix it.
