/ world today news/ “Ukraine considers unacceptable the new price of natural gas that Russia wants to impose on it – almost 500 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters,” said Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, quoted by UNIAN.
“We are ready to continue buying natural gas at the price it has been at since the beginning of the year – $286. This is an acceptable balanced and market price,” Yatsenyuk also said.
For this reason, he indicated that the Ukrainian government should be ready to limit or stop gas supplies from Russia.
“Our task is to prepare two options for the development of events. Including one in which Russia limits or terminates the supply of gas to the territory of Ukraine,” said the prime minister.
According to him, the increase in the price of Russian gas from April 1 will have a negative impact on Ukrainian industry and the population.
