Iranian Foreign Minister <a href="http://www.world-today-news.com/undaunted-by-israeli-sabotage-iran-begins-60-enrichment-of-uranium/" title="Undaunted by Israeli sabotage, Iran begins 60% enrichment of uranium”>Abbas Araqchi said on Tuesday that Tehran “does not want a war in the region, but is ready for any situation,” stressing that “regardless of Israel’s attack, Iran’s response will be the same.”
This came in a press conference held by Araghchi in Kuwait, after arriving there from Bahrain, due to the prospect of a possible Israeli attack on Iran.
Araqchi said, “Iran does not want a war in the region, but it is ready for every situation,” according to what was reported by Kuwaiti media, including the local newspaper Al-Rai.
He said: “We are seeking a complete ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, and we are in constant contact with all concerned countries. “
Since the beginning of this October, Tehran has been waiting for an attack that Tel Aviv could launch against it, after Iran attacked Israel in retaliation for murders committed by Tel Aviv.
Iran’s minister warned of the consequences of an upcoming Israeli attack, saying: “Whatever the attack is on Israel, Iran’s response will be the same. “
He said: “Israel has committed the worst kinds of crimes, some of which are war crimes that must be pursued in international forums.
Araqchi stressed, “If Iran’s infrastructure is exposed to any attack, Israel’s enemy knows for itself what Iran’s response will be to such an attack.”
He stressed that “Iran has its own tools to protect its nuclear facilities and will activate them at the appropriate time.”
Before arriving in Kuwait on Monday evening, Araqchi said in a press interview in Manama that “Iran and Bahrain have good intentions to solve and resolve problems,” according to what was reported by the Iranian news agency “IRNA” on Tuesday.
He explained, “The visit to Bahrain follows previous visits to the region, especially in the Gulf, with the aim of consulting on developments in the region.
He emphasized that “the recovery of relations between Bahrain and Iran and the reopening of embassies must happen gradually, patiently and carefully, and we still have some distance to reach that point.”
Kuwait is the tenth destination of regional visits made by Minister Araqchi this October, according to IRNA.
Within about two weeks, Araqchi made several trips in the region, when he visited Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Sultanate of Oman, Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey, as part of consultations regional and diplomatic trends regarding developments in Gaza and Lebanon.
