Reichelsheim (pm). After “Princess Goes Wrong” and “An Evening with Bonnie Parker,” the third musical will premiere at the Fortuna Theater on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7 p.m. It’s called “Willi’s still got it” and was written by Alena Neubert.

»I really wanted to write a musical comedy this time. A piece that makes people laugh, but is still profound,” says Neubert. She is particularly pleased that Wieland Arnold is playing Willi. The almost 80-year-old has already appeared on stage in numerous performances. Neubert plays the nurse Kathrin Peschke and Dominik Heinz, who also directs, is on stage as Freddy Ahrens, Willi’s son.

The play takes place in West Berlin in 1968. Wilhelm Ahrens, known as Willi, lives in seclusion in his manor house. He repeatedly takes refuge in his past, in which he was a great stage actor. Suddenly nurse Kathrin Peschke appears at the door and is supposed to look after him every day. Willi would like to send her away immediately, but over time he realizes that there are advantages to having someone who is there for you. When Willi’s son Freddy shows up again after years, events come to a head.

Further performance dates are on Saturday, November 9th (3 p.m. and 7 p.m.), Wednesday, November 13th and Friday, November 15th (7 p.m. each), Saturday, November 16th (3 p.m. and 7 p.m.) and Friday, December 13th ( 7 p.m.).
