New trial of Daulet Turlykhanov’s son: what he is accused of

As a representative of the probation service of the Medeu region reported during the trial, 21-year-old Nurasyl Bolat violated probation control more than once. This happened on October 11 and 12, 2024, according to the probation officer. Breaking 11 October Nurasyl Bolat admitted that he was indeed in the spot. However, he denies that he visited an entertainment center on October 12. As Nurasyl Bolat said, on that day he allegedly came to pick up a charger for an electronic tracking bracelet, which he had left there the day before.

He also complained that the electronic tracking bracelet kept coming loose and thus causing inconvenience.

In May 2024, Nurasyl Bolat received two years of freedom restriction for beating the lawyer Oleg Chernov and his wife Anna. Nurasyl Bolat was serving a sentence of restriction of liberty and was registered with the Almaty probation service, which meant restrictions for the convicted person at night.

However, a few days ago Nurasyla Bolata noticed that. Based on the violation of probation, warnings were given to the convicted person, and material was also prepared for the court to resolve the issue of replacing the sentence with a prison sentence.

Let’s remember that on the night of February 11, 2023 in Almaty, Nurasyl Bolat beat the husband of the lawyer Chernov and Dmitrievich. Later it turned out that Turlykhanov’s son is a private in conscript service and he should not be in the place where he defeated the lawyers, because at that time he was supposed to be in the army in Otar.

The case against Nurasyl Bolat was considered by a military court under paragraphs 1 and 5 of part 2 of Article 107 of the Criminal Code “Deliberately causing moderate harm to the health of two people for hooligan purposes.”

On October 9, the court found Bolat guilty of committing the crime charged against him and fined him one million 700 thousand tenge.

On 14 May 2024, the Supreme Court, after considering the case in cassation, changed the sentence for Nurasyl Bolat. He received two years of restricted freedom, and the amount of compensation was increased.
