1. Your role in the Leucan family:
You will mainly act as responsible for the logistics of the annual signature and third-party events assigned to you. You will actively participate in the development and solicitation of new collaborators in your territory.

Annual events and signing

  • Organize and manage all aspects related to the organization and smooth running of events under your responsibility;
  • Recruit participants and corporate teams for events under your responsibility;
  • Recruit ambassadors, honorary presidents and spokespersons for events under your responsibility, in collaboration with the main project manager;
  • Research, develop and solicit new collaborators for events (monetary sponsorships, sponsorships for goods and services, agreements with suppliers, etc.);
  • Develop lists of potential collaborators and carry out cold calling type approaches;
  • Actively participate in the search for ideas to optimize the events under your responsibility (put forward strategies to reduce expenses or increase revenues, etc.);
  • Follow up and respect the budget for the various events;
  • Ensure monitoring of event schedules;
  • Identify material and equipment needs for these same events;
  • Find and manage volunteers during events;
  • In collaboration with colleagues, participate in the harmonization of already existing tools between regions, optimize them and propose new ones;
  • In collaboration with the communications team, plan communications related to events;
  • In conjunction with the communications team, establish a social media strategy for each regional event;
  • Respect the standards of the Association and legal aspects during activities.

Third party event

  • Support employees in organizing their events;
  • Maximize the projects presented in order to make them as profitable as possible;
  • Carry out follow-up meetings and proposals with event organizers to take the projects further;
  • Approach employees so that they can set up new events;
  • In collaboration with colleagues, maintain support documents for events;
  • Transmit information relating to events to the organizers;
  • Ensure the application of procedures to event organizers;
  • Build loyalty among employees and participants;
  • Any other related task.

2. What you know

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, sales or appropriate discipline;
  • 3 to 4 years of experience organizing large-scale events;
  • Studies in philanthropic management (an asset);
  • Great autonomy in managing events from A to Z;
  • Experience in volunteer management (asset);
  • Good ability to make cold calls;
  • Excellent functional French and English (oral and written) in order to communicate with Leucan’s partners, sponsors, volunteers, participants and families;
  • Mastery of the Office suite and Salesforce (asset);
  • Essential: own a car to make occasional trips to the region;
  • Available for evening and weekend activities.
