The Théâtre des Mées will present a play by Olivier Jollivet at the end of November A flower on the ruins. May 1944, in Angers or Blois, there are eight next-door neighbors… They hate each other… They can’t even stand each other. But after the city is bombed and their staircase is destroyed, they find themselves stuck on the landing of their building. Cut off from the outside world, they will have to live together and cohabit. Then begins the funniest adventure!

The author Olivier Jollivet is passionate about theater and history. He followed theatrical training at the regional drama conservatory, then at the Nouveau Théâtre d’Angers. Olivier Jollivet runs theater and dramatic expression workshops. He is also a director and has created numerous shows in collaboration with theaters in Maine-et-Loire.

He is also an author of plays. With dramatic writing, he can combine his two passions: theater and history. A flower on the ruins is his first published play.
