Kristjan Asllani and Piotr Zielinski are out of the Inter squad for the match against Roma, so youth talent Thomas Berenbruch is called up.
It kicks off on Sunday at the Olympic Stadium at 7.45pm UK time (6.45pm GMT).
The Nerazzurri are having to deal with a growing injury crisis, particularly in midfield, where both Zielinski and Asllani have returned from their national team commitments suffering injuries.
Zielinski has a muscle strain after playing for Poland, while Albania midfielder Asllani knocked.
Inter is focusing on reinforcements from the youth sector
The good news for coach Simone Inzaghi is the return of Nicolò Barella, forced to give up commitments with the Italian national team in the Nations League due to a muscle problem.
To strengthen the team, they will bring along 19-year-old star Berenbruch, who did a great impression for the youth team this season.
