The police arrested a total of 7 people before and during today’s match between “Levski” and “CSKA-Sofia“.

Three of them were detained for possession of narcotic substances, and two – for trying to bring pyrotechnics into the stadium illegally. One was arrested for theft, and another for disobeying a police order, BNR reports.

Before the start of the match, the law enforcement authorities prevented a confrontation between the fans of the two teams in the area of ​​Todor Alexandrov Blvd.

This happened at the “Levski” rally before the match between the two teams. The parade stopped for a while when the “blues” fans noticed the supporters of the “reds”. Some supporters of “Levski” turned to those of CSKA and this caused tension.

No one was arrested. There were no casualties.

Earlier, the Ministry of the Interior warned that the police presence in Sofia would be increased because of the game.

Both teams played at the “Vasil Levski” National Stadium from 3:45 p.m.

Fans of the symbolic host “Levski” take place in divisions “A” and “B”, and those of CSKA-Sofia – in divisions “B” and “G”.

As a result of the game, it is possible that there will be problems in traffic and delays on some public transport lines, the Ministry of the Interior says.

During the hours of movement of supporters to and from the stadium, the organization of the movement was held according to the will of the police to reduce the risk of accidents, disruption of public order and acts of vandalism towards the state. municipal and private property.

The SDVR says that the priority is the protection of public order, life and health of all residents and guests of Sofia, and the planning, organization and security of the sports event is designed according to the dynamics and normal rhythm of life in the capital.
