The occupying army released a photo of an expired Palestinian passport dating back to 2017, of a person named Hani Humaidan Suleiman Zourub, who works as a teacher at the Relief and Works Agency of the United Nations for Palestine Refugees, according to what is shown in the document.
Palestinian activists confirmed that “the person who the post says was with Sinwar has been in Cairo since last April, and he is not connected to any military activity.”
Palestinian citizen Hani Zorob wrote on his Facebook account, referring to the rumor of his assassination: “O good people, I am in Egypt, and I have nothing to do with anything that is being circulated,” before Palestinian activist Hamza al-Masry published documents confirming Hani Zorob’s departure from the Gaza Strip last April and his entry into Egypt.
On the evening of Thursday, October 17, 2024, the Israeli occupation army announced the assassination of Yahya Sinwar, the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, after a year-long persecution.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that a DNA test was carried out and confirmed that Sinwar was murdered during clashes in Rafah.
