Just a few years after the genocide suffered by our people at the hands of the Turkish-Ottoman empire, and in a highly compromised global context, a group of Armenian refugees came together and, with great sacrifice, managed to create a newspaper that would serve not only to disseminate information. but also to preserve Armenian culture and traditions, in addition to fulfilling an extremely important social role.
The Diario Armenia saw the light of day for the first time on April 24, 1931 and since then it has not failed to meet each and every one of the goals imposed by its founders.
